It's Been One Month...

I can't believe I've been married for one month.
It hasn't really been that long.
But one month has FLOWN by!
So many fun and new things.
It's not quite a reality yet.
Just more like I'm playing house.
But I'm a fan of this whole married thing.
I LOVE it.
Thank you for coming to those that could make it.
It was absolutely WONDERFUL to see you there!
We got our wedding pictures back last week.
There's a billion...
So, here is just a little slide show to show how beautiful our day was.
How amazing everyone looked.
How we couldn't stop smiling.
How much I just love him.

Here We Are!

WELCOME!!!
This is where you can find all the latest and greatest in mine and Fez's life together. I can't promise it will always be exciting, or even very up to date, but I will try my best to keep it somewhat entertaining. I'm sure you all have been dying to know how we came to be. Find yourself daydreaming about it really. So, let me fill you in...

Once upon a time... ok, it wasn't really fairy tale like, but it is interesting how it all fit together. I will give you the shortened, but sweet version.

Fez and I both went to Taylorsville High School. Neither of us can remember how or why, but just that we met. He thought I was hot and wanted to take me out (he said so in my yearbook), but alas the end of the school year came and went. And so did he... The next 5 years were full of more school, mission, Europe travels, adventures, and many good times. Last September our good friends Amanda and Tricia moved into a new house and had a party to celebrate. I grabbed a couple of my best girls and we hit the party! There were tons of people there and this one guy looked super familiar. Yep, it was Fez. We all talked a bit and tried to get him to go Flowriding with us the next day, but he couldn't. So I gave him number instead :) The next week he came in town and we went on our first date. It was one of the most random but super fun dates! Having a personal tour at 11:00 pm of the City and County Building and getting full of freaky ghost stories is not a typical date, but it was a great time.

He was living in Logan at the time so the constant texting started. Then he found out he was getting kicked out of his house because of housing laws so he was moving home (Later he confessed he moved home pretty much for me... awe!). I helped him move in, we watched Lonesome Dove over the next 3 nights and that was it. It started the next 8 months of random adventures, lots of tv shows and movies, family dinners, hikes, superpower discussions, etc, etc... We saw each other literally every day unless one of us was out of town.

On February 25 we went to the SLC library to look at photography books for his class and took a walk to the City and County Building. We were joking and laughing about the first time we'd been there and the oddness of it all. Then he said he had something for me, pulled out a ring, and asked me to marry him. I was SHOCKED! All I could say was, "Are you Serious???" He actually had a ring because we'd only looked at them 5 days prior and it was beautiful! I told him he had to get on his knee before I answered him, so he did, and I said yes!!!

It's hard to believe that after only 8 months of knowing him (almost 9 now) I would be married. He is such a wonderful and amazing man! I am such a lucky lady.

Well, that's it for now. Keep checking in for more updates!
