So I wasn't going to do one of these
because I know I'm leaving a TON out
and don't have pictures to go along,
but I decided to anyway.

2009 Year In Review
*January*
I was hired on full-time salary employee at Mentors International! First big grown up job. I have loved working for a non-profit, even with the economy affecting us this year. I see wonderful things happen in our clients lives and am humbled at my blessings daily.
*February*
I got engaged!!! I started dating Fez the beginning of October and we were engaged February 25. I loved him so much, was so excited to be married to him and plan a wedding!
*March*
I was able to drive up to Idaho with some crazy clogging gals and we judged at the Idaho State Championships clogging/jazz competition. I get nervous to judge, but I really do enjoy it. I like being able to help others improve and if judging is a way to do it, bring it on!
*April*
Wedding plans and showers galore! There was so much to be done in 3 months and it all went by like a blurr. It was a fun time full of plans, family and friends.
*May*
I got married!!! We were married May 26 and couldn't have had a more beautiful day! We were lucky and missed all the rain by a couple days. Thank you to all the wonderful family and friends who helped make our day even more special. I am so blessed to have an eternal companion with so much love, ambition, and respect for our relationship. I love him more than words can express and more and more each day... (ok, enough mushiness. on with the rest of the year...)
*June*
Weddings, weddings, and more weddings. This summer/year was FULL of them! I loved it! My cousin Megan went through the temple and Fez and I were asked to be the witness couple. So neat! I was a bridesmaid for my old co-worker Nelda. Also, Fez and I went to Moab to go jeeping with his boss. Craziness! Can't wait to do it again.
*July*
More weddings! Cousin Trevor was married and best friend since preschool Jenny was married! We had tons of family events... 4th of July in Jackson Hole, Bryson family reunion (with EVERYONE there!), Johnson family reunion, and Fez ran his first 5k!
*August*
There are a lot of birthdays in July and August so my family took a trip to Las Vegas to meet up with Jason and Jen to celebrate them all. Happy birthday to Elise, Melody, Gavin, and Brian!
*September*
Fez's brother served in Houston Texas so we went to visit his mission as well as go to the BYU vs. Oklahoma game. Such a fun trip! Saw NASA, Saturn V rocket, Galveston, Woodville, Cowboy stadium, the Grassy Knolls, and ate at a lot of yummy restaurants. Can't wait to visit Fez's mission next!
*October*
Mentors International had its annual gala Oct. 9 and what a wonderful night it was! The 5 Browns performed and Padma Venkataraman received a humanitarian award. I worked for months to prepare for this event and with the help of a fantastic co-worker and willing friends the night was a great success!
*November*
I had auditioned to go on tour next summer with ClogAmerica and I made it! We are traveling to Greece and Turkey and with Fez coming along I coudn't be more excited! I get to do what I love - dance and travel - with my hubby!
*December*
This could be a long paragraph so I'll just say it was one of the best Decembers ever! Parties, Savior of the World, dance performance, birthdays (including Fez's), surprise weekend for Fez mom's 60th, Santa came!, Tyler's 'farewell', ice castles, and tons of family and friends time!

It is crazy to think 2009 is over and 2010 is here.
(By they way, its either
two-thousand ten or twenty ten)

But I have no doubt it holds many vacations, surprises,
good times, laughs, probably a few tears,
and memories that will be cherished.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

So fun to hear about all the stuff you have done/accomplished this year! I didn't know you were on Clog America. One of my best friends has been on that for years. Erica Richardson Smith? Do you know her? I am so jealous of all the tours I heard about! Have fun in Greece! That will be awesome!
Fun post. I am just so grateful we have been able to share in some of your fun this past year.
